Script Fake News
My script emulates quite a lot of my research, I added a lot of farce comedy into the mix as I felt it would lighten the mood. I also placed genuinely serious issues in the middle of two absurd scenarios. I’m also throwing in a wild card with an excessive amount of emphatic swearing to really show what the individuals in the narrative are feeling.
My film will be aimed at people who are disenfranchised from modern day mainstream media. which will most likely be people in their late teens and early twenties. The commentary I’ve used is a hot topic amongst everyone and the negative attitude to violent stances on foreign affairs is very real and current.

Location
The Green Screen
The majority of my scenes and done in front of the green screen, This will allow me to superimpose my characters into various situations.
St George’s Gardens
I’ll also film in a graveyard that’s close by, this is an unconventional location to film however it is very effective I feel and it pushes the theme of absurdity in my film.
The Hallway
Here I’ll film the Jesus scene. I was initially going to film this in front of the lift, however, I realised that it will most likely be busy and the doors are more practical.

Story Board
Scenes 1,2 and 3 –
Scene 1: Opening titles end rolling to show Igor sitting at a desk in a newsroom. He goes into the first story.
Scene 2: Interviewer speaks to Jim but is interrupted by (Justin Bieber as a reptile) Phoebe as she jumps into the frame and begins chasing Jim across the graveyard.
Scene 3: (reporter) Igor holds shocked expression before composing himself and continues to speak on the top story involving the British government. Talks about MDR’s (Mega Death Rays) then cuts to a live feed.
Scenes 4,5 and 6 –
Scene 4: Prime Minister talks in a conffrence room on the plan to send MDR’s to the middle east. PM is questioned on the possibility of civilian casualties. PM smiles creepily and says “Who else is it (the MDR) going to be aimed at?”. the camera zooms into PM’s face and then scene cuts to the middle of a war zone.
Scene 5: Phoebe (Middle Eastern Woman) in the middle of the frame holding a baby of sorts wrapped in a blanket crying whilst bombs go off in the background (using green screen).
Scene 6: Scene goes back to Igor in the newsroom; talking about the final story of the day. Igor speaks in amazement as he talks about the spotting of Jesus.
Scenes 7,8 and 9 –
Scene 7: Cuts to footage of Jesus bursting through some double doors; he demands to speak to the PM and the human race. A sceptic asks “how do we know you’re not just a homeless man in a bedsheet. Jesus turns the water bottle of one of the people witnessing his coming into wine.
Scene 8: We return to the newsroom to see Igor, the PM and Jesus sitting at a table. Igor asks Jesus why he came down to earth; Jesus proceeds to go on a lengthy rant about the state of our society and how we focus on our differences rather than our similarities. Jesus gets very angry then leaves.
Scene 9: Awkward silence for a couple seconds before Igor says goodbye.
